  • PROPHYLAXIS POWDER SMOOTH
The new calcium carbonate powder has been specially designed to gently remove supragingival biofilm while respecting the surrounding tissues. It cleans the teeth to a shiny finish, while avoiding enamel damage. The spherical shape of its particles, which have a size between 45 and 75 μm, allows a better access to the areas difficult to reach. Thanks to its composition it reduces the oral pH acidity and the aerosol effect avoiding the risk of device clogging. PROPHYLAXIS POWDER SMOOTH is sodium and silicon (SI) free, so particularly recommended to treat patients maintaining a salt-free diet and suffering from hypertension and renal insufficiency.

  • PROPHYLAXIS POWDER INTENSE
Sodium bicarbonate is the gold standard for removing extrinsic stains. Effectively removes bacterial biofilms above the gums (Barnes CM et al, 1990) and stains on the enamel surface without any changes or significant loss of substance (Kovacevic R, 1992).

  • PROPHYLAXIS POWDER SENSITIVE - GLYCINE POWDER
Glycine has a particle size of less than 25 μm (D50). This powder is less abrasive than traditional sodium bicarbonate–based powders. Glycine powder does not damage the mucosa and the jet can even be directed at the neck of the tooth. Effective for the removal of biofilm and less stubborn stains. It is recommended to detoxify deeper periodontal pockets (Petersilka G., 2003, 2011). It should be used in the presence of exposed root surfaces or a thin tissue biotype It is also minimally invasive on radicular cement, enamel, dentin and exposed implants. It can be used for frequent recalls.
